High grade magnesia carbon bricks shall be built at the parts that are easy to be damaged or difficult to repair; Parts with light damage and easy repair, Medium or low grade magnesia carbon bricks can be built. After the slag splashing technology is adopted, the wettability between the lining brick and the slag shall also be considered when selecting the lining brick. If the carbon content is too high, the wettability between the slag and the lining brick is poor, and the slag is not easy to adhere during slag splashing, which is unfavorable to the furnace protection. After comprehensive furnace laying, the corrosion degree of the whole furnace lining brick is relatively balanced, which can prolong the overall service life of the furnace lining.
