Causes of sliding nozzle mechanism:
1) Due to long-time high temperature use, or inadvertent collision in operation, the sliding mechanism has large deformation, which leads to uneven stress on the sliding plate interface. Small gaps will be formed in the parts with small stress surface, which may cause steel penetration between sliding plates.2) Due to long-time loading and unloading of the sliding car with the lower sliding plate, the error between the sliding car and the upper sliding plate mechanism will be generated slowly, resulting in the formation of small gap between the upper and lower sliding plates.
3) Because the spring used in the mechanism is used in high temperature environment for a long time, sometimes even though it is not in service, it may produce deformation and failure. Under the static pressure of molten steel, the gap between the sliding plates may appear, which may lead to steel penetration between the sliding plates. In serious cases, the whole mechanism may pass through the steel.
4) Due to the deformation of the top tightening sleeve of the water outlet, the installation of the water outlet is not correct, or the buckle of the sliding trolley of the top tightening sleeve of the water outlet is worn due to long-time use, so that the top tightening effect between the water outlet and the lower sliding plate can not be very good, resulting in steel penetration.
