The application of dolomite brick

Dolomite brick is a refractory product that is made from calcined dolomite sand.It usually contains over 40% calcium oxide (CaO), over 35% magnesium oxide (MgO) and a small amount of impurities such as SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3.The CaO/MgO ratio of natural dolomite fluctuates greatly. If the CaO/MgO ratio in brick is less than 1.39, which is called magnesia dolomite brick. According to the production process, dolomite bricks can be divided into: tar (asphalt) combined with non-firing bricks, light burning oil immersion bricks and fired oil immersion bricks. Dolomite brick contains free CaO, easy to hydrate in the air disintegration, not suitable for long-term storage.
