The application of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon brick is made from high melting point alkaline oxide and high melting point carbon material that is difficult to be infiltrated by slag and various non-oxide additives are added. Magnesia carbon bricks is mainly used for converter, ac arc furnace, dc arc furnace lining, ladle slag line and so on. As a composite refractory, magnesia carbon brick has been used to effectively utilize the slag resistance of magnesia and high thermal conductivity and low expansibility of carbon.
