The application of the chromite sand in casting production

For the casting around the bolt hole wall is very thick, liquid steel solidification slow after pouring, the bolt hole area around for a long time in high temperature condition, if using sodium silicate silica sand production bolt hole sand core, sand plug after pouring hole is often sticky note, it is very difficult to clean up, but if use sodium silicate chromite sand core, it is in the high temperature liquid metal casting itself in the process of solid phase sintering, and can prevent the molten metal penetration, the advantages of casting out plate bolt hole surface roughness and the dimensional accuracy of all conform to the provisions of the technical requirements, it get good results in the ball mill, and successfully solved the problem of the bolt hole cleaning difficulty.
